Eligibility for Admission to B.Ed. (CET) :
The admission to B.Ed. full time regular course is done through Central Admission Process & Common Entrance Test conducted by Maharashtra Vinaanudan Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya Sansthachalak Association, Pune.
Graduate of any faculty of recognized universities completed the three years degree / post graduated course or any course declared equivalent by the Govt. of Maharashtra secured 50% marks (minimum 49.5% marks) for general / open categories and 45% marks (or minimum 44.5%) for reserve category ((SC, ST, VJ, DT, NT, OBC, SBC) and 50% marks (or minimum 49.5%) for all candidates from out of Maharashtra are eligible for B.Ed.
Those teachers working in the schools of the State of Maharashtra completed continuous full time 2 years service and working as trained teachers or untrained teachers applying for B.Ed. admission are exempted from the eligibility conditions for applicable to B.Ed. course as mentioned above. They require submitting the following documents.
- The experience as a teacher in service continuously upto year 2015-16. The experience certificate has to be given by Head Master and to be counter signed by concern Education Officer, Block Education Officer, Administrative Officer of Municipal Committee, Education Officer of Corporation. And for the teachers of Central Schools / CBSE school teachers must be Counter signed by competent authority regarding experience certificate.
- If teachers are appointed by the Head Master and experience certificate is signed by Head Master then a letter of school management’s chairman / secretary should be attached to show that H.M. is empowered to issue such certificates.
- If a teacher is under service and he is relieved for B.Ed. admission then management’s letter is essential.
